My Bio
Vannotes is a gay cartoonist and illustrator based out of Idaho. He has self-published many publications and has worked for clients as diverse as Boom! Studios, King Features Syndicate, and ZEAL. In 2016, he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Comic Art from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

In his spare time, he tries to read a book a week, sings in the local community choir, irregularly attends yoga classes, and has worked with local political campaigns.

My name is Vannotes and I am a cartoonist, writer, and illustrator from Idaho. I'm so excited you've found your way here. From 2012-2016, I self-published multiple publications, freelanced for many different clients, and received my BFA in Comic Art from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Over the last two years though I have largely retreated from the world of comics to focus on my work within education and politics. It wasn't until attending San Diego Comic Con and Boise Comics and Art Festival earlier this year that I found myself at my work desk instead wishing to be working at my drawing board.
